Blackbird Series
There is a call for art out there for three 12 x 12 paintings and I’ve been planning on creating a series based on ‘Blackbird’ by the Beatles.
The idea came to me while I rocked my baby to sleep and heard ‘Blackbird’ playing behind me. The lyrics are as follows:
Blackbird singing in the dead of night
Take these broken wings and learn to fly

Here’s my vision:
Three images with text behind them. Blackbirds will be featured in all of them. The colors will be of the night and tiny splashes of color from the blackbird will be on display.
